Bill Scibetta, RN, NSCA-CPT

and
Founder
Bill is a licensed Registered Nurse
as well as a National Strength and Conditioning Association –
Certified Personal Trainer. In the summer of 2001 after
spending years practicing in the specialty of Orthopedics and Sports
Medicine, Bill founded Precision Fitness-Personal Fitness, Inc. Bill has dedicated his
career to helping individuals identify and overcome obstacles that
stand in the way of optimal wellness and peak physical performance.
As a recognized expert in the field of corrective exercise and
performance, Bill has contributed to numerous publications and
industry websites and has co-authored three books on fitness and
performance. Since opening Precision Fitness, Bill has enjoyed
helping clients that range from the elite athlete (NFL, PGA, NASCAR,
PBA, including a Daytona 500 champion, a NFL Hall of Famer, and a Professional
Bowlers Association Hall of Famer) to the student athlete and from fortune 500 executives to

Bryan Fass, ATCL, CSCS,
NREMT-P
Director of Training, Facility Director - Cornelius Location
Bryan
Fass holds a bachelors degree in sports medicine and is a Certified
/ Licensed Athletic Trainer, Nationally Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist, as well as a Nationally Registered
Paramedic. Bryan brings over ten years of clinical
rehabilitation and sports medicine experience and is highly skilled
in Myofascial Release and soft tissue therapy. Aside from being an
expert in the field of rehabilitation and corrective exercise, Bryan
is also highly experienced and knowledgeable in developing strength
and conditioning programs for improved sports performance.
David Radin, BS, CSCS, NASM-CPT
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
After
receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health and Fitness from
Springfield College in 1993 Dave spent seven years working at the
prestigious Duke University Diet and Fitness Center. During his
time in Durham Dave helped coach world class athletes as a volunteer
Strength and Conditioning Coach at UNC – Chapel Hill. Prior to
joining Precision Fitness, Dave served as the Personal Training
Director for the Lake Norman YMCA. Dave has helped countless
individuals meet a variety of fitness and wellness goals and has
extensive experience coaching young athletes to a higher level of
fitness and athletic performance.
Mark Seibert,
BS, NASM-CPT
Certified Personal Trainer
Mark
Siebert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports administration
/ Business for Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), where he
also played four years of college baseball.
As National Academy of Sports Medicine – Certified Personal
Trainer certification (NASM) and former collegiate athlete Marks
enjoys working with clients seeking to achieve a wide range of
fitness, wellness and sports performance goals.
From young athletes looking
to take their game to the next level to clients that wanting to look
and feel better, no matter the client, Mark’s goal is to work with
each client achieve their personal goals, while educating and
instilling principles of health and wellness that will last a
lifetime.
Greg Asbee, BS, NASM-CPT
Certified Personal Trainer
Greg holds a degree in Health Promotions from the
University of Iowa and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine -
Certified Personal Trainer. A tremendous motivator and educator,
Greg has helped countless individuals reach a variety of fitness goals
and an improved quality of life.
Alex Reynolds, BS CSCS, LMBT 6280
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Alex is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist as well
as a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist. Prior to joining
Precision Fitness, Alex has worked as a strength and conditioning
professional for such top organizations as The New York Knicks and
the New York Mets,
Fairfield University and Villanova University,
and has had the privilege to work with athletes in MLB, NBA,
NHL, NFL and NASCAR. Alex has a long and varied athletic background.
After competing as a NCAA Division I athlete he went on to a career
as a Strongman qualifying for the North American Championships on
multiple occasions, his latest athletic endeavor has been in the
world of physique contests having just won the Precision Nutrition
Lean Eating Physique Contest in June of 2009. Alex brings a
wealth of knowledge and experience that allows him to take his
clients health, fitness, and performance to the next level.
Tom Caruso, BS, CSCS
Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science and Education degree with a
concentration in athletic training from the University of Arkansas.
As a member of the Razorback swimming and diving team Tom was a
three time Division One All American and earned an impressive second place finish in
the 1994 NCAA National Championship on ten meter platform. Tom has
held the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
certification since 1997 and enjoys working with cliental of all
ages assisting them in attaining their goals of getting to the next
level in feeling, playing, looking, and living better.
Verun Tahiliani,
ASCM-HFI
Certified Personal Trainer
Verun first came to Precision
Fitness as an intern from UNC –Charlotte.
Upon graduating with a degree in Exercise Science and earning
his certification a Health and Fitness Specialist through the
American
College of Sports
Medicine, Verun became a full time member of the Precision Fitness
team. Verun is and an
excellent coach and motivator who's training approach has proven
successful with all populations regardless of fitness or performance
goal.
Travis Kurtz,
NASM-CPT
Certified Personal Trainer
A Northern Ohio native, Travis relocated to the Lake Norman area
after majoring in Physical Education at the University of Toledo.
A member of the Precision Fitness Team since 2005 Travis’s an
energetic and positive approach to fitness and performance has
helped clients of all ages look better, feel better, and play
better. As a National
Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer Travis looks
forward to continuing his service to the Lake Norman community.
Katie Gallagher, BS, CSCS, NSCA-CPT
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist / Certified Personal
Trainer
Originally from Maryland, Katie is a graduate
of Elon University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise
Science and competed as a member of the university’s varsity dance
team. Katie is currently
pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at
UNC-Charlotte. Katie is
certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association
as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist as well as
Personal Trainer.
Katie’s education and experience as well as her passion for Strength
and Conditioning and total wellness has allowed her to help not only
athletes looking to improve athletic performance but also
individuals looking for better health, fitness and an improved
quality of life. In her free time, Katie enjoys swimming with a
master’s swim team and is training for her first triathlon in August
2009.
Jeremiah McConnell,
BS, ACSM -HFI
Certified Personal Trainer
Jeremiah first joined Precision Fitness as an intern while
completing his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science at UNC -
Charlotte. Jeremiah’s
formal education as well as his diverse background as an American
College of Sports Medicine - Certified Health Fitness Specialist and
having served 10 distinguished years as an Army Medic (EMT-B) for
the North Carolina Army National Guard has given Jeremiah the tools
that have allowed him to lead many satisfied Precision Fitness
clients to better health and fitness. Staff Sergeant McConnell is
currently serving his second tour of duty in Iraq where he is
leading six teams of Army medics to help keep our troops healthy.
We are very proud of Jeremiah and wish him good luck and good
health and look forward to welcoming him back in 2010.
Justin
Hicks,

Certified Personal Trainer
Justin received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the
University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds a certification
from the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health and Fitness
Specialist. Aside from being a tremendous motivator and
trainer Justin is an accomplished athlete.
In
Justin's
8+ years of competitive cycling experience, he has
won
numerous junior state championships in
the disciplines of Criterium and Road Racing and has been invited to
participated in numerous Junior National Team events. Justin is also an avid
golfer and enjoys training dogs. No matter the level of
fitness, age or current health, Justin's education and experience
will help set you down the path to achieving your goals.

Michele
Mathiesen, BS, LMBT
Neuromuscular Therapist
Michele
Mathiesen holds a Bachelors Degree in Sports Psychology from the
University
of Wisconsin,
and has been a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist for the last 7
years. Her experience in
Physical Therapy, Orthopedic, and Chiropractic settings has given
her a unique perspective in healing modalities.
Michele utilizes many different types of therapy to best help
her clients including Neuromuscular Re-Education, Myofascial
Release, Thai Massage, Ashiastu, Hot Stone, and CranioSacral
Therapies to allow her to achieve the best results with her
clientele. Michele has
also taught at the collegiate level for Massage Therapy, has
authored articles in a recent textbook, as well has received
numerous state level awards for her work on behalf of the Florida
State Massage Therapy Association.
She is NC Licensed (#6472), Nationally Certified (NCBTMB),
and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher, specializing in Yin
Yoga.
Johnnie Jones, RD, LDN, MHS
Registered Dietitian and Dietary Counselor
A graduate of
Western Carolina University, Johnnie
holds a BS in Exercise Science and Fitness Management as well as
Master of Health Sciences in Nutrition.
As a graduate student,
Johnnie’s vast knowledge of Sports Nutrition was put to use by
teaching classes to Collegiate Athletes as part of his published
research project "Nutrition Knowledge of the Collegiate Female
Athlete".
Johnnie’s experience also includes work as a clinical dietitian at
Carolinas Medical Center, where he practiced Dietetics to the vast
patient population. So, whether you’re facing a
challenging weight loss goal, need counseling on therapeutic
nutrition (Diabetes, Heart Disease, Osteoporosis, etc) or want to
know how to eat for optimal sports performance Johnnie has the
education and experience to help you meet your goals.
